Work those Abs!

New style exercise!

WOW!  That’s all I can say about this new exercise class I tried yesterday. Now I have tried various things over the years and just recently I joined up for a pilates course.However as much as I was enjoying it I felt like I wanted something a little more strenuous. Well I’ve certainly found it.

 A  friend suggested I go along with him to ” The Barre” in Newcastle. Apparently this all the craze in America…. what is it? It’s dance and resistance training, devised and refined by professional dancers!!!  Using you guessed it a barre what ballerinas use. Well I was intrigued and wanted to go just to see how it worked.

I chose to go to a class specifically for ab work. It was 30 mins long and my god was it long enough. I did say I wanted something a little harder, well I found it and I can’t wait to try the other classes. There’s one for arms, one for bums and all over body workouts too.
